Pre-School Program

 

During the next few years of development, Pre-Schoolers start taking an interest in interacting with others around them. With assistance, they can engage in brief interactions. Every move of a child’s year counts as they are recognizing things and improving on their communication.

 

Our Teachers try to encourage students to take the lead, explore the environment, establish routine and understand transition. We foster learning by continually building upon new experiences which further enhances cognitive, social, physical, fine and gross motor development.  We also try to engage our young learners in Parallel play and small group activities which fosters identity and ownership as well as social development. Our young learners are provided with ample experiences to explore material through senses, which leads to subtle changes in children’s ability to use their hands and fingers. As a result, our students start manipulating and exploring materials as well as objects.  They start constructing puzzles, playing with shape sorters and placing round pegs in holes.

 

Thus, as a whole, our Pre-School program concentrates on simple processes for young learners to participate in, and is quick and easy enough to hold the interest of our impatient kids. Our goal to make the program enriching and successful is Play Is A Tool For Learning and all children are considered to be individuals who learn in their own way and at their own pace.
